The course introduces and discusses the triple bottom line and other economic measures of sustainable performance. The concepts behind the measures are uncovered and the principals discussed to enable the student to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
The economics of scarcity are introduced and a conceptual framework discussed upon which tools, for the internalisation of environmental impact and contribution to sustainability, are based.
